The Demonstration School Administration for Supporting Pedagogy Training in the University
The research objectives were 1) to analyze the factors of demonstration school administration for pedagogy support, 2) to determine the confirmation on the factors of demonstration school administration for pedagogy support. The sample of this research consisted of 52 Faculties of Education with Demonstration Schools under the Office of the Higher Education Commission. The respondents were 6 persons from each Faculty of Education with Demonstration Schools which included 3 respondents from the Faculty of Education; a deputy dean, experience training supervisor, and educational supervisor, another 3 respondents from Demonstration School; school director, deputy school director in academic affair, and school mentor, in the total of 312 respondents. The reply of questionnaires were received from 276 respondents, 46 universities, and calculated as 88.46%. The instruments used for data collection were semi-structured interview form, opinionnaire, and confirmation form. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and Exploratory Factor Analysis including content analysis. The findings of this research were as follows: 1)The factors of demonstration school administration for pedagogy support in university were comprised of; 1) setting necessary qualifications of mentor with 14 observed variables, 2) providing working unit in charge of pedagogy training with 8 observed variables, 3) collaborating in pedagogy training with 7 observed variables, 4) organizing activities of seminars to promote pedagogy training with 5 observed variables, 5) establishing quality assurance system for pedagogy with 3 observed variables, 6) encouraging positive attitude towards teacher profession with 3 observed variables, 7) promoting transfer of knowledge to classroom with 3 observed variables, and 8) being good role model with 3 observed variables. 2) The confirmation on the factors of demonstration school administration for pedagogy support were found in accordance with the standard of propriety, feasibility, utility and accuracy.
