Applied Science and Engineering Progress

Applied Science and Engineering Progress (ISSN: 2672-9156, E-ISSN: 2673-0421) is an international, double-blind peer-reviewed by at least two independent reviewers, open access scientific journal, free of charge, published by King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) since 2008. Applied Science and Engineering Progress published original research articles, reviews, and editorial corner in areas of applied science and engineering. The journal also publishes high quality and peer-reviewed papers presented at conference hosted/co-hosted by KMUTNB to expand the research connection between scientists and engineers. Applied Science and Engineering Progress also aims to introduce research progress of applied science and achievements of engineering development to the world community by demonstrating the significance of research investigations and demonstrations. Accepted manuscript to Applied Science and Engineering Progress will be published every quarter in PDF formats (March, June, September, and December).

Announcements

 

ASEP is ranked in Q2 by SCIMAGO 2022

 

ASEP has been included in SCOPUS database since 2019 (Scopus). It is announced by SCIMAGO on 25 May 2023 that ASEP is indexed in Q2 (Engineering and Computer Science) with SJR of 0.35 (SJR). Our journal publishes open access articles with free of charge and has turnaround time for reviewing process less than 1 month/round. With increased numbers of submission and our visibility, we select only high quality manuscripts that attract interest of our readers. Currently the acceptance rate of ASEP in 2023 is at 3%. With supports from our authors, reviewers, readers and editors, ASEP aims to maintain high standard of peer-review process to make sure the integrity and reliability of publishing.

Scope of Special issue

Sustainable and eco-friendly materials can be easily recycled and do not harm the environment during their creation, usage, or disposal. Long-term benefits of using sustainable and eco-friendly materials are enormous. This special issue therefore focuses on current advancements in such environmentally friendly and sustainable materials.

Manuscript submission via Thai Editorial System (ThaiES)

Applied Science and Engineering Progress is moving to Thail Editorial System (ThaiES) submission starting on 28 Dec 2022. This system is financially and technically supported by TCI-TSRI and NECTEC collaborations. Our authors, reviewers, and editors can find more information at https://ph02.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/ijast. The manuscripts submitted to our journal before 28 Dec 2022 are still manually managed by Editorial Manager for reviewing process, and please email to asep@op.kmutnb.ac.th for any question and technical support.
