The Model of Human Resources Development on Information and Communication Technology in the Industry of Small and Medium Enterprises

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to develop and evaluate the model of personnel of information technology and communication of small and medium business, and 2) to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of manuals personnel of information technology and communication in small and medium enterprises. This research was an experimental research. The target groups in this research were supervisors in the workplace and supervisors with at least 5 years of experience in information and communication technology. The research found that: 1) the developed model consisted of 7 topics and all topics were suitable at highest level. 2) The effectiveness of manuals personnel of information technology and communication in small and medium enterprises, evaluated by the experts, were at highest level. The achievement after training was statistically significantly higher than before training at .05. After follow-up the trainees, we found that the trainees could develop the training courses. We evaluated 4 developed courses by trainees and found that the overall scores were greater than 70%, which is considered to be good.
