Abstract

The objectives of this research are to 1) develop online learning instruction using cooperative learning and problem-based learning activities so that the online learning instruction is of the quality and is efficient according to 80/80 efficiency criterion; 2) make comparison between pre-test score and learning achievement score of students who have learned from online learning instruction using cooperative learning and problem-based learning activities; and 3) make comparison between learning achievement score of students who have learned from online learning instruction using cooperative learning and problem-based learning activities. The sample group consisted of 64 students from 2 Mattayomsuksa 3 classes at Princess Sirindhorn's College in the second semester of academic year 2016 who took data structure and algorithm class. The research tools used were online learning instruction using cooperative learning and problem-based learning activities and learning achievement test. The data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation and t-test. The results revealed that 1) the quality of online learning instruction by using cooperative learning and problem-based activities is very good, average = 4.76 and 4.77; efficiency = 87.12/85.45 and 83.06/81.45 respectively); 2) the learning achievement scores of students who have learned from online learning instruction using cooperative learning and problem-based learning activities are significantly higher than their pre-test scores; 3) the learning achievement scores of students using cooperative learning activities and problem-based learning activities are significantly different with the former being higher.
