The Development of System to Promote Community Enterprise in Educational Institutes under the Office of Vocational Education Commission

Abstract


The research on The Development of System to Promote Community Enterprise in Educational Institutes under the Office of Vocational Education Commission’ has been designed as a research and development to conduct on both qualitative and quantitative study with the purposes on developing and evaluating the system to promote community enterprise in educational institutes under the Office of Vocational Education Commission. The results can be concluded as follows. The system to promote community enterprise in educational institutes under the Office of Vocational Education Commission comprises 2 main parts; part 1- the analysis of the needs on competency set in training which were used as a guideline to construct training program and its content according to the needs of the community enterprise. Part 2- the development of train-the-trainer program for the department heads to train the leaders of the community enterprises was evaluated in overall by the specialists at high level. The results on the competency set needs details on the reported by specialists in the field of community enterprises showed high necessity which can be divided into 7 aspects. And this 7 competency set needs were applied to develop training topics which were validated at very high appropriateness in every aspect. The results of the training course efficiency evaluated through CIPP Model can be explained as follows. The context evaluation was very high similar to the input evaluation, in every aspect. The process evaluation was conducted by the implementation with the efficiency of the training program at 83.78/84.12 and the achievement of the practical part at 77.34 higher than the set criteria on both theory and practice. The product evaluation showed by the achievement of the department heads who joined the training program. Their achievement on the theoretical part equal 84.79/ 83.98 and that of practical part at 76.30 higher than the set criteria on both aspects. Moreover, the leaders of the community enterprises reported very high satisfaction on the training. This can be concluded that ‘The Development of System to Promote Community Enterprise in Educational Institutes under the Office of Vocational Education Commission’ conducted by the researcher reached high efficiency according to the research hypothesis.
