The Standard and Indicators for Effectiveness of Aeronautical Educational Management

Abstract


The purposes of the research were : 1) to determine the standard and indicators for effectiveness of aeronautical educational management, and 2) to confirm the standard and indicators for effectiveness of aeronautical educational management. The research metrodology included: 1) studying the variable concerning the educational standard and indicators, 2) developing instrument and data collection, and 3) analyzing the data and confirming the standard and indicators for effectiveness of aeronautical educational management. The sample and instruments in the research were: (1) 5 aeronautical educational management specialists and related persons by semi-structured interviews; (2) 52 aeronautical programs and 6 respondents were executive programs and professor by using opinionnaire. (3) 9 aeronautical educational management specialists by using opinionnaire. The statistics for analyzing the data were frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, exploratory factor analysis and content analysis. The findings of this research were as follows: 1) the components of the standard and indicators for effectiveness of aeronautical educational management were : (1) learning and teaching management standard composed of 37 indicators (2) lecturer standard composed of 20 indicators (3) curriculum standard composed of 8 indicators (4) student standard composed of 8 indicators (5) student developing network standard composed of 8 indicators (6) quality assurance systems standard composed of 3 indicators, and (7) educational management standard composed of 3 indicators, and 2) the confirmation of the standard and indicators for effectiveness of aeronautical educational management were found propriety, feasibility, utility and accuracy with the theory, principles and concept of the research.
