Development of Training Program for Trainer according to Educators e-Training Model

Abstract


The objectives of this research are: 1) to develop and evaluate the model for the Training Program for Trainers according to Educators e-Training; 2) to develop and evaluate the training for Trainers according to Educators e-Training Model; This research aims to develop and evaluate the etraining Program for educators based on the data from the investigation of needs and present situation. The sample used in this study included 380 basic educational schools administrators and teachers. The appropriateness evaluation evaluated by 11 specialists. The result of this research was used in the development of the curriculum to train Trainers and the staff of educators. The target group used for collecting data consisted of 20 subjects with the conclusion of the results as follows. 1) According to the analysis of the career, job analysis, e- Training and the related theories on training course, the training model and e-training program, consisted of 5 steps: (1) performance analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation. The result of the appropriateness evaluation of this e-training Program for educators courses showed very high appropriateness in line with the hypothesis. 2) The development of the training program for Trainers according to Educators e-Training Model The developed training course consisted of 5 topics : The results of the program evaluation based on CIPP Model are as follows. The context evaluation by experts presented the highest level of correspondence and appropriateness between 5 topics and training objective. The input evaluation of the training course presented appropriateness in the highest level as well as high correspondence in all items between elements of the training course and behavioral objectives. Cronbach’s Alfa Coefficient between medium to high. The try-out result of the training course showed the achievement score on the theoretical part at 80.17/83.32, higher than the set criteria. The process evaluation reported the achievement scores from the implementation at the average of 87.55/87.76 and the average practical score at 87.04, higher than the set criteria. The product evaluation was based on the follow-up study of the trainees who conducted the e-training Program for educators courses showing that the administrators and teachers reported high satisfaction of the training course. Therefore it can be concluded that the efficiency evaluation of the training course can be employed effectively in line with the hypothesis.
