Management Development Model for Car Service Center Manager

Abstract


This research comprises of 3 aims as 1) to explore the elements needed for the development of manager service center for business maintenance servicing of cars 2) to construct the model development of manager service center for business maintenance servicing of cars and 3) to create the manual of the development of manager service center for business maintenance servicing of cars. The population included in this study comprises of the manager of service center and executive in total of 1902 of the business maintenance servicing of car in central area, which was calculated the number of sample size of 330 people. the research tool used in this study Data was analysis using statistical calculation of mean score, standard deviation, and Exploratory Factor Analysis to analyze the association of factors that affected on the success in the development of manager service center for business maintenance servicing of cars.1) Research result that the model development of manager service center for business maintenance servicing of cars composed as follow: the main factor of work related skills comprise of sub-factors as follow (1) leader of change (2) technique on working (3) consultant to advice ; the main factor on personnel related skills comprises of subfactors as follow (1) performance indicators (2) coordination 3) put the right man to the right job; the main factor on thinking skills comprises of sub-factors as follow (1) technical coaching (2) techniques to find information (3) problem solving ability; the main factor of role among individual comprises of sub-factors as follow (1) build team morale (2) Decision Making (3) role of negotiation; the main factor of the role related with information comprises of the sub-factors as follow (1) techniques of communication (2) identify the organization’s issues (3) powerful team; and the main factors on the role related with decision making comprises of sub-factors as follow (1) resources management in organization (2) relationships. The assessment by experts found appropriateness on the development of manager service center for business maintenance servicing of cars as the percentage of 92.36 among the respondents’ opinion and about applying the development model in order to further use was agreed on the possibility by experts which found the percentage of 91.25 among the respondents’ opinion.
