Factors Affecting the Attendance of Cram Schools of the Undergraduate Students, College of Industrial Technology, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok

Abstract


Problems in learning regular classes of the Undergraduate students, making the students turn to attend the cram schools, causing the disadvantage to the regular classes due to their absence. The researcher had the interest to study the factors affecting the attendance of cram schools of the Undergraduate Students, College of Industrial Technology, KingMongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok. The objectives of this research were to study the factors affecting the attendance of cram school of the Undergraduate Students.The population was studying in the Undergraduate Students, College of Industrial Technology, KingMonkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok. The samples were 387 students. The tool used was the questionnaire entitled the factors affecting the attendance of cram schools of the Undergraduate Students. The research results found that the level of attitudes to the factors affecting in learning in cram schools – for the teacher : they could familiarize themselves with the learners with the average 3.71; for the classroom environments : the big and crowded regular classroom, the value 3.43; for the learner’s personal factors, the attitude level of the factors affecting the attending the cram schools of the students was they were not confident in doing the tests, the value 3.78.
