The Result - Based Management of Information Technology for Education Center in the Primary Educational Service Area Office

Abstract


The purpose of this research was to determine the result - based management of Information Technology for Education Center, Primary Educational Service Area Office. The 3 steps of this research operation were to (1) identify the conceptual framework, (2) study the result - based management by qualitative approach, in this regards, the sample was Information Technology for Education Center, Suphanburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, then (3) the data were analysed by content analysis and presented by descriptive analysis. The research studied based on applying the conceptual framework of the Office of the Civil Service Commission. The findings revealed as follows: The result - based management of Information Technology for Education Center, Primary Educational Service Area Office efficiently developed the management that consistent with mission and information technology and communication driven towards the policy of Office of the Basic Education Commission. In this regards, there were two factors: 1) The result - based management of Information Technology for Education Center Planning, composed of five steps: (1) analyzing vision and mission, (2) identifying critical success factors, (3) key performance indicators, (4) data source, and (5) setting goal. 2) The implementation of information for management, composed of four steps: (1) collecting data, (2) recording and approving data, (3) analyzing, and (4) reporting result. Additionally, the important factor disclosing from this research was integrated evaluation composed of plan, propulsion, verification, participation, and innovative application. The such information can be used in making decision for further accomplish management.
